What will the weather be like?

The reception will be outside, and Texas weather can be tricky. The weather is forecasted to be between 50 and 70 degrees, with little to no chance of rain...so let's keep our hopes up!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony will be taking place at OLPH, please note this is NOT the Selma location. It is the location at 618 S. Grimes St. The reception will be taking place downtown at La Villita, in Plaza Juarez.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony so we can start on schedule.

Where should I park for the reception?

There is a private lot directly across the street from Plaza Juarez. We are reserving a limited number of spots that will be available on a first come first serve basis, afterwards, parking may be charged upwards of $20 being that it is a weekend.

Are children welcome to the reception?

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if listed on the RSVP card.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We have a strict guest limit in order to remain within budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are there any food/dietary restriction options?

We will be having enchiladas verdes and regular cheese enchiladas. As for the cake, unfortunately it does have almonds in it, but there are other sweets to enjoy for those with nut allergies.

Can I take the centerpieces?

Unfortunately, glass is prohibited from the venue with the exception of our centerpieces. In order to ensure safety and maintain respect for La Villita, please leave the centerpieces for us to collect. This will limit movement and the potential for them breaking. If you really want a centerpiece, we will be sure to save one for you, just let us know!

Can I take and post pictures?

Yes! Please use our hashtag: #goinggonzo22 so we can keep track of everything. Our ceremony will be cell phone free, but we will have a "Social Media Minute" where you can bring out phones to take photos.

Is the reception BYOB?

We are having an open bar, but are accepting donations for our "Stock the Bar" party in November. Afterwards, if you want to bring your favorite beer or liquor for the party, please talk to us at least two weeks in advance. Per the venue restrictions, glass is not allowed in any part of the venue space. Liquor bottles will have to stay behind the bar and beer bottles are not allowed, only cans. For this reason, we are having our Stock the Bar party.

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.
