Never in a million years did we think we would meet our person on a hot, sweaty, rainy Sunday during baseball season. Never in a million years did we think a few random EMTs who hadnt eaten all day would end up sitting in a random guys section at a random restaurant to eat. Not by chance, but by God.

If you dont know how we met, youre missing out on a pretty funny, but super cute story (if we do say so ourselves). Michael was waiting at a restaurant and Kali was working Atlanta Braves games as an EMT. After a particularly hot day in July and having not have eaten anything all day (in typical Kali fashion), she and a few of her colleagues, one who was particularly hangry at the time, decided to walk into Michaels restaurant to eat their first meal of the day. They sat down, got some water, and were patiently waiting for someone to take their order to they could eat.

Next thing Kali sees is a bowl of chips slowly floating onto the table in all of their chip glory and out came an I love you to whoever happened to be bringing them food. Then she heard a laugh and an I love you too. By the way, my name is Michael and Im going to be your waiter tonight.

All she could think was wow, I might actually be in love with you. He walked away and she looked at her friends saying that is the most attractive man Ive ever seen in my entire life. Her friends tried to get her to leave her number, but she was scared and didnt want to be another girl at another table who left their number for the really cute waiter.

But her amazing friend, Jayda, played ultimate wing woman and asked for his Snapchat which Kali then proceeded to ask if she could have as well. Michael had texted her after his shift that night and they made plans to hang out the next night.

They ended up going to a bar (which makes perfect sense for Kali the non-drinker) with some of their friends and stayed until almost 3 am talking and getting to know each other. Numbers were swapped, he walked her to her car, and they have been talking ever since.
