Before you blow a gasket and starting shaking your fists like a little, angry Italian grandmother, we want to explain something to you.

This is our day.

You may think thats a crazy concept, but it is. Its our day.

We arent going to make everyone happy. We know that. But thats not what this day is about. Its about us coming together as one and starting our lives together with each other. Its not about who got invited or who didnt, not having a food option for one specific person, or not liking kids enough to have them present.

Heres the thing: you got invited. If youre reading this, youre one of the very few people we realized we couldnt possibly do this day without. We think that means something. Especially to the many people we left out and didnt invite.

We want you as a part of our special day and our lives together. You are our family in one way or another.

With all of that being said, please respect the fact that we are choosing to only have our ceremony with our immediate family members. We dont want the nerves, stress, or extra crazy of having a huge ceremony that will honestly only last about 5-10 minutes with vows and prayers. We promise you arent missing much.

We do, however, want you to celebrate with us. We think the celebration part is one of the most important parts of coming together as a new family. Its the downtime after the stress. Its the party to send us off into married life together.

We love each and every single one of you more than you will ever know. We hope that you understand and join us for our special day.
