We ask that all guests please read our Q&As and answers before reaching out. This page answers many common questions in regards to the wedding, traveling, and logistics. If you have a question that is not answered below, Eddy, Ale, Lalo and Shonte of Just Book It Travel, are available to answer any of your questions and assist with finalizing your reservation. HOW DO I RSVP FOR THE WEDDING?

Guests must RSVP by completing the form on the "RSVP/Book My Room" page and making a $50 per person room deposit with our Just Book It Travel Destination Wedding coordinators. Our guest list will be managed by them. Please RSVP no later than December 15, 2023. Click the following link into your browser to RSVP

CAN I BRING ADDITIONAL GUESTS NOT SPECIFIED IN THE INVITE?

Please contact Karen & Joe if you would like to bring additional guests or if you have any special requests. All invited guests are more than welcome to bring additional travel companions and friends to enjoy the vacation with us. Just Book It Travel can arrange travel for these additional friends and family members coming to vacation, but not attending the event.

WHAT ARE THE SUGGESTED TRAVEL DATES?

Our wedding ceremony and reception are on June 9, 2024. However, we want nothing more than for our friends and family to enjoy a VACATION. To maximize your vacation time, enjoy excursions, enjoy the wedding, and have time for yourself, we recommend the following date range: June 7, 2024 – June 11, 2024 (NOTE: The resort has a 3-night minimum stay requirement.) Please feel free to arrive as early in advance as you'd like and stay at the resort for as long as you'd like. Group rates are valid for up to seven nights' stay based on availability at the time of reservation. Enjoy yourself, and make this a VACATION!

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE HOTEL?

Partial payments are outlined below: Deposit Due - non-refundable deposit, $50 per person – Due by December 15, 2023. Final Balance Due - Anytime before February 12, 2024. All payments are non-refundable after Final Balance Due Date. All refunds would be via travel protection claim if purchased.

WHEN IS THE RSVP DATE?

The resort has limited availability (due to high demand and other factors); therefore, we are asking for family and close friends to RSVP with Just Book It Travel by making a $50 per person deposit no later than December 15, 2023. This ensures that you will be added to our confirmed guest list and group activities. The earlier, the better!

WHAT IF I'M UNSURE OF MY EXACT TRAVEL DATES, BUT I'M READY TO RSVP BY BOOKING MY ROOM?

Reservations can be modified without penalty up until the final balance due date of February 12, 2024. If you are unsure of your travel dates, it is recommended that you book your room for the longer length of stay and then reduce your stay prior to the final balance due date. This way, you would have confirmed all potential room nights (since availability is subject to change) and can modify your travel dates once flights are booked without penalty prior to the final balance due date. DO I HAVE THE OPTION TO PURCHASE TRAVEL PROTECTION?

Absolutely! We HIGHLY recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary. Just like other investments (house, car, health, jewelry), the travel protection plan helps to protect your travel investment from any unforeseen circumstances that may arise before or during your trip. It is recommended that the travel protection plan be purchased initially with the deposit, however, insurance can be added up until February 12, 2024. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

WHEN IS THE FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

NO LATER THAN - February 12, 2024. Please take advantage of the monthly payment plan. Reminders will be sent frequently by Just Book It Travel.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

All payments are non-refundable and reservations are charged a 100% penalty if cancelled after February 12, 2024 (UNLESS you have travel insurance). Guests have until February 12, 2024, to purchase travel protection insurance. Any applicable refunds must be requested from your travel protection supplier. Example 1: Guest pays the balance in full prior to February 12, 2024, and cancels prior to February 12, 2024. The $50 deposit is non-refundable. All other partial payments will be refunded. (Guests with travel protection insurance are refunded the $50 per guest deposit.). Example 2. Guest pays the balance in full on February 12, 2024, and cancels on February 12, 2024. All payments are non-refundable following February 12, 2024. (Please file a claim directly with your Trip Protection provider for all non-refundable fees.)

DO I HAVE TO BOOK WITH JUST BOOK IT TRAVEL?

YES PLEASE! We request that all guests ONLY utilize our dedicated planner and travel coordinators at Just Book It Travel, whom we have hired to manage our guest list. This helps us to keep the entire group organized and included in our planned group activities, and informed of logistics and frequent updates. Everyone will receive a significant group discount, so you’ll always pay less than the internet rates by using Just Book It Travel, and most importantly, you'll receive concierge-level service from them. Additionally, Just Book It Travel has flexible payment plans, making your travel arrangements even more affordable and convenient. If you've ever tried to contact an online travel company to make changes or cancellations, you'll appreciate the benefit of using a local, boutique travel agency (especially during times of uncertainty).

WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN TIME?

Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Rooms are not available until then. If you arrive before 3:00 pm, you can use all the facilities, pools, and restaurants, and the hotel team will let you know when your room is ready. We suggest guests travel with beach clothes in their carry-on’s or pay for an additional night if you want the room earlier.

WHAT DOES "ALL-INCLUSIVE" MEAN?

Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort and Spa is an all-inclusive resort that offers: All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink (alcohol, mixed drinks, daiquiris, and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a night club), Water Sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, and other non-motorized water sports are typically included), Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food.

CAN I UPGRADE MY ROOM?

Absolutely! As long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. For your convenience, we have pre-selected the most popular rooms on our wedding website's booking pages. If you wish to book a different room type, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form. Just Book It Travel will contact you with pricing, availability and next steps. WHAT IF MY POTENTIAL TRAVEL COMPANION (ROOMIE) IS TBD, UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME, OR NOT READY TO BOOK?

Time waits for no one :) Book without them and add them to your reservation at a later time. Since prices and availability are subject to change, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are sometimes higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you'll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIND GOOD FLIGHT DEALS?

We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change. Homework: Once your flights are booked, please provide us with your flight details so that we can arrange your ground transportation from the airport to the resort, and vice versa.

DO I NEED TO HAVE MY PASSPORT PRIOR TO MAKING MY DEPOSIT FOR THE TRIP?

No, Passports are not required UNTIL guest travel. As long as you provide Just Book It Travel with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance by RSVPing. Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks - we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility". If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees. **Reminder: please check the EXPIRATION DATE on your passport! It must have an expiration date during your stay in México.

DOES EVERY GUEST NEED A PASSPORT?

YES! Each guest (including children) must have a valid passport to travel to Mexico. **Reminder: please check the EXPIRATION DATE on your passport! It must have an expiration date during your stay in México.

WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I ARRIVE/DEPART?

When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN)

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT?

We HIGHLY recommend securing your round-trip transportation in advance with your Just Book It Travel reservation. Although not recommended, you could get a taxi or shuttle at the airport/resort, but they are usually more expensive when buying directly on the same day. Pricing for your group for round-trip transportation from the airport to the hotel & from the hotel to the airport are: Round-Trip Private Transportation: $60 per adult (min 2 people) - direct service, only guests from the wedding group will be transported in the same vehicle (Recommended). $120 for solo travelers. If a solo traveler provides a round-trip flight itinerary matching another guest of the group, the solo traveler's cost will reduce to $60. Please provide your flight information to our Just Book It Travel coordinators so they can notify the resort of your arrival and departure times.

WILL I NEED CASH? WHAT ELSE SHOULD I PACK IF THIS IS MY FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRIP, OR FIRST TRIP IN A LONG TIME? HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE?

We recommend that all guests read this Pre-Travel Checklist as prepared by Just Book It Travel, to ensure a seamless travel experience. All confirmed guests will receive very detailed traveling instructions 7-10 days prior to travel.
