Santa Barbara has been our happy place, the place where we have started to built our life together.
We've explored its hidden corners and discovered favorite spots along the way. From long walks on the beach to hidden gem restaurants, we'd love to share our Santa Barbara with you!
Below, you'll find some of our favorite things to do and read about why we love them. We hope you get a chance to experience them too!

Mission Rose Garden
The Mission Rose Garden holds a special place in their hearts.
It's the backdrop to summer nights spent picnicking with close friends, playing corn hole, and sipping on Margerum Rose.
It's where they celebrate birthdays, friends-giving, watch the flamenco dancers during Santa Barbara Fiesta events, and take Thomas to run around to play with other dogs in the big grassy area.
But their most special memory there is when Quinn popped the question and asked Katelyn to marry him – a memory forever tied to their favorite spot!
Margerum Santa Barbara Tasting Room
Katelyn's Favorite Wine Bar.
You can find Katelyn enjoying a glass a Margerum M5 White wine here most Monday nights with her friend Jenna (who will be drinking the Margerum Rose, 100%)
If you come to visit Katelyn in Santa Barbara you can bet that Katelyn will bring you here, at least once during your visit.
P.S. Thomas is a big fan of Margerum as well!
Oat Bakery - Downtown
The best sourdough bread you will every eat!
You won't want to miss this spot. Make sure to get there early, they always sell out.
Quinn and Katelyn will buy a loaf of the Charcoal Sesame Sourdough Loaf (this is a MUST try!!) and the whole loaf will be gone within 24 hours.
Butterfly Beach
When Quinn and Katelyn worked together at the Coral Casino in collage, they would sit on the Butterfly Beach wall and eat their lunches together - the start of something very special!
Butterly Beach is by far their favorite beach in Santa Barbara and they go there any chance they get. They will often grab a bottle of wine and take-out dinner from the Public Market and eat dinner on the wall watching the sunset.

Santa Barbara Public Market
The public market is one of Katelyn and Quinn's favorite places to go for a fun and easy date night (and they are dog friendly!)
All of their favorite food in one spot.
Empty Bowl - Quinn orders the Hangover Noodles with Chicken and Katelyn orders the Chicken Pad Thai or the Bangkok Street Noodle

Wabi Sabi - They both get the Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowls (Thomas likes the soft boiled egg that comes on top)
Corazon Cocina - The Norteno, Al Pastor, and Ensenada Tacos and the Sal De Mar Ceviche

Cold Spring Trailhead
One of the many reasons Katelyn and Quinn love Santa Barbara is because of how many ways there are to stay active.
When they aren't lifting weights at Gold's Gym, or taking long beach walks on Cabrillo, they are hiking in the Montecito Mountains. Cold Spring trail is a great hike for everyone and has beautiful views of Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands (on a clear day).
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Chipotle is Quinn's idea of fine dining.
If you know Quinn, you know he has a deep love for Chipotle. Quinn makes a special request for it a least once a week. When Katelyn asks Quinn where they should go to eat, his answer is always Chipotle.
Quinn's order every single time: A bowl with white rice, black beans, steak, medium salsa, corn, and a tortilla on the side.
