Tyler and Kelly’s love story began on Halloween night in 2017 at a bar, where fate (and a little bit of costume magic) brought them together. Tyler, dressed as a pirate, spotted Kelly, a mermaid, and knew he had to make his move. Thinking fast, he scribbled a treasure map on a napkin, complete with his phone number. Three weeks later, they went on their first date at Alexander Michael’s, a cozy spot in Charlotte that has since become one of their favorite restaurants. From that night on, the adventure truly began.

Over the years, their journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments and incredible travels. From exploring the romantic streets of Paris and London to adventuring in Niagara Falls, Yellowstone, and the Caribbean, their love for travel and new experiences has only grown stronger.

In January 2024, they welcomed the final piece of their little family—Ollie, their beloved Ragdoll cat. Ollie quickly stole their hearts and became the center of their world, bringing endless joy (and a little mischief) into their home.

A few months later, in April 2024, Tyler planned a trip to Aruba, setting the stage for one of the most memorable weekends of their lives. On their second evening there, he suggested a sunset walk on the beach—an unsuspecting Kelly had no idea what was coming. After a few minutes of strolling along the shore, Tyler dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever. In total shock (and possibly blacking out from excitement), Kelly said yes without hesitation. Aruba will forever hold a special place in their hearts as the place where their forever officially began.
