Brendan and Kennedy became the best of friends in their final year of high school. Brendan quickly became Kennedy's go to person, whether it be for a laugh or a shoulder to cry on. A few months later on June 9th, 2017, Brendan gained the courage to ask Kennedy to be his. The two have been inseparable ever since!

They faced the hardships of a long-distance relationship while Kennedy spent her time in post-secondary. Any chance they had to visit each other was always taken advantage of, even if the weather and roads didn't agree. The two would joke that the universe was against them, but they always overcame the obstacles in front of them to be together, even just for a weekend.

Once Kennedy finished nursing school, they finally moved in together, eventually purchasing their first home in November of 2023. Shortly after, the couple got their first dog, Kirby, and their little family was complete.

Then came their most memorable Christmas, when Brendan proposed using a Lego set the two had dreamed of owning since the early days of their relationship.

After all these years, Brendan and Kennedy are excited to celebrate their marriage with their friends and family on August 24, 2024.
