Our journey together began thousands of miles from home, in the bustling streets of Kunsan Air Base. Both serving in the Air Force and stationed at the same base, fate brought us together as air traffic controllers. Our shared career allowed us to spend nearly every day together, and what started as a friendship soon blossomed into something far more special.
During our time in South Korea, we embraced the adventure of exploring a new country, experiencing its culture, and making unforgettable memories. From getting our wedding rings in the vibrant city of Seoul to cheering on the KIA Tigers at a baseball game, every moment was an adventure. But our love truly grew on trips beyond Korea’s borders. This summer, we journeyed to Japan, where we conquered Mt. Fuji, devoured sushi, and fell deeper in love.
It was in Eunpa Park, at a bridge where we'd shared countless dates in South Korea, that Daimien asked Kianne to spend forever with him. They already had a locket with their initials engraved, a symbol of their shared history on the bridge. Just one week later, in the heart of Seoul, we sealed the deal and committed to spending the rest of our lives together.
Our love story didn’t stop there. We honeymooned in Thailand, where we fed elephants, tried our hand at surfing, and island-hopped in paradise. And then, after an unforgettable year in South Korea (for me only one year, two for Daimien....), we received exciting news: we’d be starting the next chapter of our adventure together in Germany for the next three years.
As we prepare to celebrate our wedding, we are filled with joy and gratitude for all the love and memories we’ve built so far. We can’t wait to share this special day with our friends and family—our greatest supporters on this incredible journey.
