The Bluff's Regional Trail is close to the hotel and has a great view of the City. It's a 5k loop and a favorite of Michael and Kiley's.
Roxborough State Park has many moderate trails for the family with a Red Rocks feel. This is close to the but you feel like you are in the Red Rocks
If you are looking to hike, Mount Falcon Park has a variety of trails and is decently close to the city with a mountain feel.
The Colorado Rockies play the Cincinnati Reds at 1:10 on both Saturday and Sunday at Coors Field. Tickers are usually reasonable for these.
This is a great place for adults and families alike if you are looking for something to do close to the hotel. There is also a nice family park in the area. There is an obstacle course, ziplines and an incline for workouts.
The Denver Zoo has things to do year around and is located right next to the Museum of Nature and Science and City Park
Check out this short easy hike to discover dinosaur tracks from the past. Can be done with strollers etc.
The Denver staple restaurant is back complete with the original cave divers but with a new menu. If you want to book you'll have to get on the list as early as possible. It's very hard to get in! We hope you can enjoy it! It's a must see!
Here is a great place for both adults and kids. It would be a great option if the weather is cold for the weekend.
Here is another great musum to check out indoors. This is downtown.
Denver's Version of Meow Wolf is a great indoor activity while you are in town.
The Denver children's museum has plenty of entertainment for those bringing their families.
If you are in the mood for a short drive the Garden of the Gods is beautiful for a stroll or a drive in Colorado Springs. (An hour or so away).
There is a wonderful training museum in Colorado Springs. Kiley and Michael went their to celebrate Michael's birthday early on. We'd recommend also booking the tour of the training facilities across town. Usually future Oympians do the tours. The memorabilia and video clips etc here are wonderful.
After visiting the Olympic Training Museum visit the Olympic Training Facilities. Sometimes you can see the athletes training live. Bundle it with the museum and get to town early. It usually closes around 5 or 6 and there is a lot to see. It's like a campus. (Some walking required for sure).
Those interested in the Air Force will enjoy dining in the Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs. Michael and Kiley did it after visiting the Olympic Training Museum.
