Our story starts back in 2015, when Kristen decided to apply at Mellow Mushroom after having lunch with her cousin Blanca. Jordan was already working there by then, unaware that he was making the first of many meals for his future wife. Who knew that a craving for a pizza would change the course of our lives.

This romance was a slow burn, with every coworker knowing there was something there but of course they were in denial, they were "just really good friends". Then, in early June, they decided to see where dating would take them. As you can see, it worked out for them. Having that foundation as close friends allowed them to start their relationship with a strong level of trust, understanding, and emotional support. Kristen and Jordan together made sense, their interests, moral values, and love of adventure set the stage for a lifetime of sweet memories.

6.5 years later, Jordan took Kristen to Ulele for dinner on a chill December evening in 2022. They walked Riverwalk, admiring the Christmas lights and decided to walk down a secluded dock to admire the lights on the water. This is where Kristen turned around to see Jordan on one knee, and they were officially betrothed to one another.

While this is a short but sweet version of the last 8 years of our life together, you all have been there for every celebration, loss, health struggle, and special moment we have shared. We are so excited to spend this day surrounded by people we love and that love us back. Thank you for being the people who enriched our lives together; we are better because of you. We look forward to the next chapter with you all there.
