You could say that this all started with a simple smile from across the room. Matt and Kristina met in nursing school at Northeastern University. This was a predominately online program, so you can imagine the little opportunity they had to actually meet other people. One day, however, during an exam, they briefly caught one another's eye. Most would pass the moment so as to avoid any potential awkwardness but this wasn't the case. The moment was reciprocated with a warm smile and it was in that instant that each of them knew: "Wow, that person is hot"
Kristina broke the ice and sent a message via Facebook (because how else were they going to connect in an online program?) - little did she know, however, Matt is not the biggest social media guy (I think most aren't surprised by this given how bad he is with his phone) - leaving Kristina in an unexpected, week-long purgatory. Matt with his "perfect timing" for everything finally discovered the message and they scheduled to meet at last. And from there, everything immediately began to come together...
It's not everyday that you walk away from a first date where you question whether you knew that person for a few hours or for a few years. Concept of time didn't seem to exist that night and it spilled over into the following week, which turned to into months and then into years. Now, a pandemic, three cities and several swaps in job specialities later, they are ready to take their vows.
Please join Kristina and Matt for this memorable event, as this will be something everyone will be smiling about for years to come ;) See you there!
