A Wedding Mass typically lasts about an hour or so. That might seem lengthy to some, but the exchange of vows and rings is embedded into the regular weekly Mass that includes readings, prayer, worship, and communion.

The Order of the Mass is in one of the song books in your pew that you may use to follow along if desired. All are more than invited to participate in singing, kneeling, and praying portions of the Mass. Catholic or non-Catholic, there is joy to be had in a start marriage dedicated to loving God and loving others.

During Communion, you may choose to receive a blessing by walking forward with your arms crossed on your chest or you can remain at your seat. Either way, this is a time for reflection, solitude, and recollection.

With us, kids are always invited! Please list them if they will be in attendance with your RSVP. And if you choose to have a child free evening, we completely understand!

We will be having a semi outdoor tented reception held on the land behind the Knights of Columbus hall in Scotland. Please keep in mind that the space will not have subflooring when choosing attire!
