We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you all to Highlands, NC! To kick off the weekend, we’re hosting a welcome party for everyone to join! The party will take place at the charming Spring House at Old Edwards Inn, where we’ll have light hors d’oeuvres, delicious desserts, fun games, and, of course, plenty of drinks! This event will flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, so we recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket—Highlands evenings can be a bit chilly, even in the summer. Attire: For men, a nice sport coat with dress pants is perfect—no tie needed unless you'd like to wear one. For women, a cocktail dress or dressy jumpsuit is ideal. We can’t wait to start this unforgettable weekend with all of you!

Wedding Day! We are beyond excited to have all our friends and family surrounding us on this incredibly special day. Complimentary shuttles will be available starting at 4:30 PM, departing from Old Edwards Inn (445 Main Street) and 200 Main (200 Main Street). If you prefer to drive, no worries—there’s plenty of parking at the venue! The ceremony will take place outside in the beautiful orchard, followed by a cocktail hour with both indoor and outdoor spaces to mingle and enjoy. The celebration will continue inside the barn for an unforgettable night! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all! Attire: For men, a sharp suit with a tie or bow tie will be perfect—no tuxedos needed! And for women, go for a long or tea-length cocktail dress or a pantsuit. Feel free to add a pop of vibrant summer color! Children: We adore your kids but we kindly remind guests that the Livesay-Walker wedding and reception is an adult only event.

After an unforgettable night, we’d love the chance to see you one more time before you head out! Join us for a light breakfast at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park—we’ll have muffins, bagels, and warm goodbyes ready before you hit the road or catch your flight. The park is within walking distance, and there’s plenty of parking available for a quick stop. We’ll be set up right in front, so it’ll be easy to swing by.
