Q + A

Will the event be Indoors or Outdoors?

We intend to have the ceremony outdoors. However, in the event of inclement weather, accommodations are in place for an indoor ceremony. Reception will be indoors.

Is There A Dress Code?

Dress code for the evening is Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual (your preference). We want you to look good but be comfortable and enjoy your evening with us (If you are to wear jeans, please make sure they are not white, washed-out or have holes in them, and they are paired with a nice dress top). No White, Off White, Cream, or Ivory please.

Am I allow to bring a Plus One?

We kindly request you not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on your invitation.

Are Children Allowed?

As much as we would like for children to attend, our budget only accommodates for adult guests (18 and older). We hope that being given this information far in advance, you will be able to make all necessary childcare accommodations.

Will there be alcohol?

We will have Beer, Wine, and Champagne for the night. we ask that you please do not bring your own drinks or any liquor to the venue, as our venue does not allow this. Drinks are on us, the hangover is on you.

Am I allowed to take photos during the Ceremony?

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. However, after the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take pictures throughout the night. Please note, we kindly ask that you wait until after the Bride the Groom posts pictures on social media before posting anything online.

What if I have food allergies or restrictions?

We have planned into our menu a vegetarian option for our guests to enjoy if they choose to. If there are any allergies we need to be aware of, please let us know so we can inform the caterer accordingly.

Where should we stay?

Our venue is located in Rockwell, NC. We have decided not to do a hotel block to give our guests the freedom to stay at a place most comfortable to them. We have provided some suggestions for hotels near the venue. Please check out the Travel section on our website for more details.

When should I RSVP?

We appreciate you being able to come celebrate with us! Since we need to provide a final guest count for catering and seating, we kindly request that you RSVP no later than August 13th, so we can finalize our plans. If we haven't heard back from you by that date, we will assume you won't be able to make it. We hope we can celebrate with you at another time.

Will there be other events to attend during the Wedding Weekend?

We are having a Welcome Party the night before the wedding in our own backyard to start the weekend festivities off; all guests are welcome to attend! You can let us know you are coming when you fill out your RSVP responses (address will also be provided at the time of responding). Party starts at 5:30PM

Where do I park for the Welcome Party?

Being that this event is at our home, parking is limited. There is some space available along the side of the road across from our home. We strongly encourage that you use a ride share service (Uber/Lyft).

Is there a Dress Code for the Welcome Party?

The Welcome Party will be a causal gathering, so dress casual (chances are, you’ll catch the groom in one of his many Hawaiian shirts that he owns).

Will there be food and drinks at the Welcome Party?

Yes, we do plan to have some food and drinks available for you while you mingle with everyone.
