Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located approximately 45 min away from Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas Resort and Spa

We recommend booking your flights as early as you can.

You may book it via your favorite airline.

Typically about 6-9 months out is the best time to book airfare but it can vary.

Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE AVAILABLE FROM THE AIRPORT TO RIU PALACE CABO SAN LUCAS?

Yes, round-trip shared airport transfers will be provided for all guests booking their rooms within our group room block. The travel fare to and from the airport in Cabo San Lucas is included in your room payment. Private transportation with only your party in the transfer vehicle can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. Please make this request on your booking form.

WHEN IS THE DEPOSIT DUE TO RESERVE MY ROOM AND FINAL BALANCE DUE ON MY ROOM?

The minimum $200 PER PERSON plus the cost of any optional travel protection deposit is due to reserve a room must be paid by

October 15th, 2024.

Final Room Balance must be paid by November 1, 2024

WHEN SHOULD GUESTS START TO ARRIVE IN CABO AND WHEN SHOULD THEY DEPART BACK HOME?

We are hoping our guests can meet us in Cabo January 20-23rd, 2025 to give you time to settle in and prepare to Celebrate Our Wedding on the 25th of January.

As far as departure and returning home, we ask that our guests stay a minimum of 3 nights to qualify for discounted room rates and to be able to participate in our scheduled activities.

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO BOOK IN OUR WEDDING GROUP?

We have secured a room block in association with our wedding contract with Liz Moore Weddings to ensure space and pricing is held for you our guests. This will allow to keep our group organized for all our wedding festivities and prevent additional fees associated for your attendance to our wedding events. They offer competitive prices direct from the resort and personalized service. Anytime you have a question or concern, you will be able to contact them directly and will not have to go through a call center and hold to speak with a different person each time possibly in another country.

They have a 24-hour emergency line available for customers if there should be any flight delays or problems at the resort while traveling.

Most importantly, their strong relationship with the resort helps to ensure that members of our wedding party that are booked with us will not be walked and placed in another resort due to overbooking at the resort.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A PASSPORT TO FLY TO CABO SAN LUCAS?

Yes, you need a Passport to fly to Mexico. Please look into getting one ASAP as these can take up to 3 months to be mailed to you.

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE RIU PALACE CABO SAN LUCAS RESORT?

Yes, it is highly recommended. We would prefer you our guests are able to enjoy the resort with us! If you choose NOT to stay at the resort, transportation and other additional fees including purchase of a day pass that will only allow you to attend the wedding event and requires you to leave the resort immediately following per resort rules and regulations.
