Where the love story began. Ashley & Joe Dent would say Eric and Laura met before but they both disagree. Dent's Beer Olympics 2021. Eric and Laura were made partners by Ashley and Joe because "they were their only single friends". Laura picked team Italy. Eric really wanted to be the Russian Olympic Committee since we weren't really a team. Eric bought Laura a shirt and Laura bought him sweat bands without each other knowing. Upon arrival, Eric came outside to help Laura carry in items. As Laura was throwing items out of her car for him to get, she yelled "Oh shit! I forgot to put my car in park again!". Since that day, Eric is always offering to drive Laura places as much as possible for some reason...

Eric told the group they should go watch the Labor Day fireworks from his apartment's rooftop. A few came along just to conveniently leave 1 minute into the fireworks beginning leaving Laura and Eric to bar hop with his neighbors where they both learned their tolerance levels for alcohol.

Laura decided to make Eric overpay for Dead and Company tickets but he still had a good time despite spilling a frozen margarita on Laura and her friend, Katie's shorts. A few weeks later, Eric got his revenge by making Laura attend NF's concert who she made fun of all the way there, but now she admits she enjoys his music.

After walking a few miles to deliver Laura a brat from Oktoberfest, Laura decided she actually liked Eric and would go to a haunted house with him and his friends. Laura learned that Eric likes to have conversations with actors at haunted houses, and Eric learned that feeding Laura quesadillas before a haunted house is not the best idea in the world.

Laura and Eric had a busy weekend for Eric's 33rd birthday. Laura reserved the Ruby Room at The Precinct so Eric could enjoy a good steak dinner with his friends. The next day, Laura took Eric to his first UC football game, and finally, on Sunday, Eric took Laura to the Browns vs. Bengals games where the Browns dominated the Bengals to complete the perfect birthday weekend.

With his apartment lease about to end, Eric started looking for houses. Since he still had a simple bachelor mindset, he had Laura help find a house that was worth it. After a few months of rejection in a crazy market, Eric finally got a house in Anderson. Already knowing that Laura was the one, he asked her to move in when he did in May, but he also knew that her family is much handier when it comes to projects than he was, so it was a good move all-around. The house has had projects going ever since, but now looks so different from this photo.

Laura joined Eric on his family's cruise to the Greek Isles, Naples, and a week in Rome. Eric's family decided they liked Laura more than Eric and Eric decided he loved Italian food almost as much as Laura.

Laura always told Eric that Vero Beach, Florida was her favorite place in the world because of her family trips. Although confused since he just came back from Italy, Eric decided to propose to Laura in front of her family since it was her favorite place, even though she was grumpy the day of and her dad told him he didn't have to propose right then and there just because he had the ring. Despite the waves best attempts to take Eric out, he managed to get the ring on Laura's finger and more importantly, save the beach towel.
