Lifia and Daniel met during their freshman year at Sammamish High School, where they shared several classes together. Their similar values, friends, interest in healthcare and personalities paved the way for their relationship. They then started dating that summer and stayed together throughout high school.
During college, they did 3 years of long distance (1 year at home during the pandemic) while Daniel attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Lifia attended University of Washington in Seattle, then Emory University in Atlanta.
In May of 2023, Daniel proposed to Lifia at their favorite date spot, Discovery Park. Then in June, they had their Nikah, an Islamic wedding ceremony, at their local mosque.
Since then, they have both lived in Atlanta while Lifia finished nursing school and Daniel worked as a medical assistant at a dermatology clinic to prepare for medical school.
They are so excited to celebrate their marriage with you and cannot wait to see everyone!
