Where does the story begin? Way back when (almost 34 years ago) we were working for the same company, PR Newswire. She was in LA and I was in NY.

Because of our roles at PR Newswire, we needed to work with each other and found that we connected easily and were quick to understand each other.

We were both single at the time and there was interest on both sides, so lots of letters were being sent back and forth as we got to know each other more.

Lisa came out to Long Island a few times and we knew there could be more to us, but work kept us on opposite sides of the country and the distance just wasn't manageable.

We always remained closest of friends, soul mates in a way, and poor timing in both our lives seemed to keep us apart. For lots of reasons we didn't work back then.

We both went on to live our lives and both having single, amazing daughters.

We’ve shared much of our lives with each other over the years, having both been there for each other during some of our most trying and difficult times.

As life would have it, new life opportunities come to us and this one was in the form of a job opportunity for Lisa in NYC.

Life has a way of circling back around. Even after 30+ years, we never forgot each other, nor did we forget the feelings we had for each other. Here we are- many years older, hopefully wiser and realized our hearts are happier together than not.

Our story is one of perseverance, patience, happiness, laughter, friendship and especially love.
