We know many of our family and friends are flying and driving in for a long weekend to attend our wedding. We would love to have an opportunity to meet up and enjoy NYC at Christmas time with you. To follow are some things we have in the works-

Heading into NYC!- 1:57 PM Train

We plan to head into the City on the 1:57 PM train, leaving from Rockville Centre, arriving Grand Central Station at 2:35 PM. For those of you would like to join us, please meet at the ticket machine under the train trestle behind Monaghan’s.

We plan to wander over to Bryant Park at 5th/42nd as a starting point. From there, you can walk north on 5th Avenue to check out the store windows (Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Cartier to name a few), St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, etc. Macy’s is located at 7th /34th, south from Bryant Park.

Dinner in NYC- 6 PM

Il Corallo Trattoria

Our very favorite little hole in the wall restaurant, in the City, is il Corallo Trattoria. We plan to dine there Saturday evening and another opportunity for us to enjoy a few of our family and friends. It’s a small restaurant and we currently have a reservation for (8). Grab a bite, enjoy a coffee or cocktail with us before we head over to Penn Station and return to Rockville Centre.

Return to Rockville Centre via Penn Station- 12:39 AM

For those who are staying on Long Island / Rockville Centre, and not familiar or comfortable riding the train later in the evening, we will be posting the Penn Station train we will be on and where to meet up at Penn if you want to ride back with us. We will be walking over to Penn Station right from The Tailor Public House.

Sunday, December 8th

Open House- Noon to 7PM

Valley Stream, NY

For those of you leaving later Sunday or Monday and even those of you who are local, you're invited to come on by our place in Valley Stream for food and drinks. We are a 10- minute uber/Lyft ride from Rockville Centre and a 30- minute train from NYC.
