WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We kindly ask that all guests wear semi-formal or cocktail attire, such as a dress or dressy separates for women and a shirt with a tie or sport coat for men.
We also ask that you refrain from wearing any white, cream or ivory colors.
FOOTWEAR: Please keep in mind, this is a outdoor party, and high heeled shoes may not be the most comfortable option to attend the reception in.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RSVP?
Our RSVP deadline is July 13th. To ensure we can provide a final headcount to our caterer and other vendors, we kindly ask that all responses are submitted by this date. Unfortunately, guests who do not RSVP in time may not be able to join us for a meal, but you are welcome to join us for drinks and dancing.... just bring a sandwich. :)
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Due to limited capacity, we are limiting children to those of immediate family, close friends and the wedding party. However, if specified in the invitation and on your RSVP, your children are more than welcome to attend.
We are encouraging our guests to use our night as a date night away from the kids.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the people listed on your invitation and RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
If your invitation and RSVP list a "guest" a plus one has been given to you. Please kindly RSVP with the full name (first & last) of the guest you so choose to bring.
HELP US DOUBLE-CHECK
While we've taken great care in creating our guest list, We're only human! It's possible we may have unintentionally missed someone you expected to see on your RSVP.
If you notice a family member or guest who should be included (such as a spouse or child), please please let us know when you RSVP or send us a quick message. Thank you!
IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The ceremony will be inside a beautiful church. The cocktail hour, dinner, and dance will be outdoors with a covered space. Again, ladies, be mindful of footwear, as we will be partying in the grass.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. All cellphones should be put away during the ceremony. We want our guests to be 100% present with us during this special moment.
Don't worry! We spent a lot of money on the photographers who will be there and we will be happy to share those photos with you once we get them back!
After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like as long as you promise to send them to us at the end of the night!
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?
After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking photos around the church, down by the lake and around town. This will last about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
We invite our guests to stop and check out the lake views, visit some of our favorite local establishments, or enjoy a special cocktail hour at our reception venue. Cocktail hour will include drinks, a light snack, and special music by Char Good.
WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED AT THE RECEPTION?
Yes. We will be hosting an open bar at our cocktail hour and reception. We want our guests to enjoy themselves as we celebrate this special occasion together. While we encourage everyone to have a great time, we also ask that guests drink responsibly. Your safety and well-being are important to us, and we want everyone to have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
We do ask however, that you tip your bartenders well, so maybe carry a little extra cash! xoxo-L&C
GIFTS REQUIRED?
Absolutely not!
While gifts are greatly appreciated, we are so thankful that you decided to spend your Saturday celebrating our love with us.
If you were thinking of giving us a small gift, a gift of cash to go towards our honeymoon and/or our family-moon would really make our day. We will also have a traditional registry available as well.
