While Alex grew up in upstate Vermont and Lydia in Connecticut they had similar interests from childhood including skiing/snowboarding, dirt biking, and being on the water. Alex and Lydia both went to UCONN however did not cross paths until Pharmacy School. Lydia was Alex's "mentor" and from the moment they saw each other, they knew they may get more than some pharmacy school tips. In classic Alex fashion, their first date was at a Chinese restaurant. This is where Lydia learned the extent of Alex's picky eating- and she still stuck around.

Seven years later, here we are planning our wedding and couldn't be more excited to share this day with all of you!
