We met during our freshman year of high school and quickly became close friends. What started as a friendly homecoming date in sophomore year sparked into something more. We officially started dating in November 2018, when Maddie was 16 and Brock was 15, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Throughout high school, we shared some unforgettable memories—being crowned Homecoming Prince and Princess, Prom King and Queen, and even Mr. and Mrs. East Ridge. After graduation, Maddie went off to Florida State University, and we spent two years growing through a long-distance relationship. We’re so proud of the love we’ve built through every season of life.

Brock recently graduated from nursing school in May and has already begun working as a full-time nurse. Meanwhile, Maddie is working as a preschool teacher while pursuing her degree in early childhood education – set to graduate next year. We both feel called to serve others and are passionate about our work with children and families. We value our faith deeply, enjoying our time spent together volunteering with the little ones at church.

We’ve been blessed with the love and support of amazing family and friends, and we cherish every moment spent with them. We have learned so much from the strong, loving marriages that surround us. Our families have set incredible examples, showing us what true commitment and care for one another looks like. We hope to carry those lessons with us as we prepare for this next chapter.

We love going to Disney, trying new restaurants, exploring new places, and just enjoying time together. Brock’s happy place is the golf course, and Maddie’s is driving the golf cart—occasionally doing donuts while Brock is hitting!

New Orleans holds a special place in both of our hearts. Brock is a lifelong Saints fan and loves visiting the city so much that he hopes to make annual visits a tradition. Maddie spent part of her childhood living near City Park and has always dreamed of getting married in the iconic Cathedral, where we will be saying “I do” this December. We’ve shared so many beautiful moments exploring the city together, and it felt like the perfect place to kick off our marriage.

We can’t wait to travel more, build a home filled with love and laughter, and one day, grow our family. We’re so grateful for the journey that brought us here and for all the love that surrounds us as we take this next step together.
