Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that you respond no later than October 15th, 2025.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! For a cohesive look, we kindly request that all guests wear black. Please dress in formal attire—think timeless and elegant! Please note that the historic streets of New Orleans can be uneven; we recommend wearing block heels or comfortable footwear.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony venue?

Our ceremony starts promptly at 3:00 p.m. Please arrive no later than 2:45 p.m. to allow time to walk, enter the venue, and find a seat.

Can I take photos?

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture every detail of the wedding, and we will, of course, share those photos with you afterward! Following the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and encourage you to snap away! Each table at the reception will have a QR code for you to upload your photos to, so we can see our day through your eyes.

What is a second line?

A second line is a New Orleans wedding tradition—a parade led by a brass band, celebrating the couple and the day. After the ceremony, we’ll take a short break for photos, then start the second line to lead everyone from the cathedral to the reception. Each guest will receive a handkerchief to wave during the parade, a symbol of celebration and love. We’re looking forward to sharing this special moment with you as we begin our married life surrounded by friends and family.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited reception space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Are children welcome?

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of a few family members in the wedding party. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand & enjoy the night off, as we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will there be parking at the venues?

Not really. Parking in the French Quarter is limited and can be difficult to find. Fortunately, the ceremony and reception venues are within walking distance from the recommended hotels. We recommend walking or using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft for the easiest and most convenient transportation.

Where should I stay?

We have reserved hotel room blocks for guests at the Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter. The Omni Royal Orleans hotel is another nearby option. Please see our Hotel Page for more information on booking your stay.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes — the drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you! Along with our signature bride and groom cocktails, a full bar will be available for all guests of age to enjoy.

What if I do not RSVP in time?

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will be marked as a "no". We will miss celebrating with you; however, we must provide final guest counts to vendors within the time frame provided to us. Thank you for understanding!
