Both in high school, Marci and Luke met through a mutual friend, Ellie Angus. Marci knew Ellie from middle school and high school marching band. Luke worked with Ellie at TXR Paintball both as referees where they became good friends. In December 2016 Marci and Luke met at Ellie’s house in Cypress and quickly became friends. On December 22, 2017 Luke asked Marci to be his girlfriend after driving around Prestonwood looking at Christmas lights with Chick-Fil-A and milkshakes from Baskin Robins (Marci’s favorite meal). Over the next 5 years the couple navigated life through college together, growing alongside one another. Celebrating their 5 year anniversary in Fredericksburg, TX, Luke surprised Marci at Augusta Vin Winery with an engagement ring and proposal. Marci thrillingly said yes and the two began planning their wedding. The couple now resides in Fort Worth, TX with their two cats, Gatsby and Glen, and look forward to celebrating their love on October 19, 2024 with you!
