Marshall and Emily first met in middle school. They started out as friends, and Marshall would walk Emily to the bus after school together. It wasn't until their freshman year of high school that they began dating. Marshall had been asking Emily for months, and finally May 18, 2015 she said "okay, fine you can ask me now". After graduating high school, Emily moved to Iowa City for university. Marshall decided to follow her and lived in Tiffin with their dog Axel. Eventually they decided to buy a house in Lisbon. Shortly after Emily moved in, Marshall proposed. June 11, 2022 Marshall popped the question after he had been hiding the ring for months! Even after years and years together, Emily was completely surprised! Since then, they have added another fur friend, Bohdy to the family and have enjoyed renovating their home as well as traveling and finding new adventures.
