If you want the soft white sand and a mystery of golden flakes in the sea, the oldest hotel in California and the nice open ocean breeze, you should visit Coronado.

If you want to relax, go for a walk and get to the Mexico fence, enjoy a calm beach with not too many people and a nice pier go to Imperial Beach. This is also our closest beach to home.

If you want the hippie style, alcohol and bonfire allowed beach, go to Ocean Beach

If you want the fun, music and bars... On the beach, go to Pacific Beach

If you want to see the seals, sea lions and pelicans, you should go to La Jolla.
