Logan and I have a story that goes way back—our paths first crossed when we were just kids, thanks to 4-H. I remember him coming to my grandparents' farm when he was only 12, looking to buy some 4-H pigs, and from that moment on, our story began to unfold. Those early years were filled with unforgettable summer days—going to county fairs, cheering at demolition derbys, and creating memories that would last a lifetime. We shared the same junior high and high school years, which made our connection even stronger.

After graduation, our paths took us in different directions. I moved to Winona to pursue a nursing degree, while Logan stayed close to home to study electrical work at Riverland. Even though we were heading down separate roads, we always had that strong connection.

Fast forward almost a decade, and here we are—engaged! We’ve talked about this day for so long, I still can’t believe it’s finally here. It was after a girls trip to celebrate my college graduation that I came home to the most perfect proposal. It felt like everything we’d dreamed of and more, and it was a moment I’ll never forget!

We bought a house in Owatonna last June and are enjoying making it a home.
