Food

We will be hosting a Welcome BBQ at TYAX on Friday evening. Dinner will be provided Friday and Saturday evening. We recommend bringing snacks as there is nowhere other than the restaurant at the Lodge to get food. You have the option to bring your own breakfast food or, there will be a breakfast buffet that would be charged to your room. If anyone has any allergies or dietary restrictions please let is know well in advance so we can work with the Chef at TYAX to accommodate any needs.

Beverages

We will have Wine from a local Lilloet Winery, Fort Berens. Red and White Wine will be provided at the tables for dinner and each guest will get 3 free drink tickets.

TYAX has allowed us and our guests to bring our own beverages as long as there is no outside liquor in the licensed areas. So! For the Welcome BBQ and just general hanging out during the weekend, we can have our own beverages in the rooms and outside on the grounds but they are NOT to be taken into the dining area, deck or hot tub area. This is a courtesy they are allowing so please be respectful and do not bring your own beverages into these areas.

Weather and Back Up Plans

As it is the end of September in BC, the weather can be rather temperamental. It could be warm or cold, there is no way of knowing. Please plan to have something to cover your shoulders! The Ceremony will be held outside on the lawn so please plan accordingly. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved to a covered area on-site, but you may want to bring an umbrella anyway. The dinner and reception will be held inside the Lodge. There will be a cocktail hour with games.

Kids!

Kids are welcome! Please make sure they are included in your RSVP so we can make sure to have meals for them as well. There is a small playground for the kids at the Lodge.

Furry Friends

There is a very limited amount of dog friendly rooms so we may not be able to accommodate all furry friends. We will be fined for any pets in a non-pet friendly room so please do not bring them if you do not have a pet-friendly room.
