Dipesh: We went from learning about each other’s favorite colors, to bantering about who makes better chai, to opening up about the driving factors behind our dreams and ambitions. Meera is just such an empathetic and genuine person. I could be my full self with her. Every message between seeing patients, every motivational message before exams, every joke shared lead our heart closer together until we had “the meeting” that changed everything in Dallas, Texas. After seeing her beautiful smile, hearing her wonderful laughter, and feeling her warm my soul, I knew I found my soulmate.

Meera:We met in 2018 on Dil Mil while in medical school. We met in Dallas for our first date and then did an all Arizona road trip through the Grand Canyon before finally getting together. After 4 years of long distance, Meera matched for residency in Houston and we were finally able to spend two amazing years together growing as a couple. After 5 years of dating, Dipesh proposed in Positano during the most magical day.
