Megan and Patrick first crossed paths in 2014 when Megan moved to Kennesaw. After a few months, life led them in different directions. During that time, Patrick embraced fatherhood, welcoming two wonderful daughters, Amelia and Maya; Megan embraced a career in ministry. Their paths didn’t cross again until September 2020, when, amidst a global pandemic, they reconnected. Over the next three years, they shared time together in Atlanta, and in December 2023, they briefly relocated to Connecticut. In June 2024, they received exciting news—a job opportunity for Patrick that would bring them back to Atlanta. In August 2024, the family returned, making it possible to celebrate their wedding closer to loved ones and friends.
