Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 12, 2025.

How can I RSVP?

You can either RSVP online on our website here (please go to the RSVP tab), or you can RSVP by mailing in the RSVP card you received with your invitation. As a reminder, our mailing address is 2138 W Earll Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85015.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Yes, if you were invited as an individual, you are welcome to bring a plus-one guest with you.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Please note this is an adults-only, no children celebration. Only children from Megan's and Robert's families who are part of the wedding party (Flower Children) have been invited to attend. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Feel free to check out this guide for inspiration: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

If you would like to, you are welcome to dress or accessorize in any of our wedding colors that were mentioned on the Attire card in your invitiation. They include three shades of green (forest green, olive green, and sage/eucalyptus green) and classic fall colors (rusty/terracota red, pumpkin orange, and sunflower/mustard yellow).

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Our ceremony and reception will be at Louland Falls. The address for the venue is Highway 80, Exit 131 (Westbound only), Salt Lake City, Utah 84109. You can use this link to view the location in Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CE3grCMMnCPfqAbA9. You can learn more about our venue on their website: https://www.loulandfalls.com/. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you to where the ceremony and reception will take place.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held outdoors, weather-permitting (cross your fingers for us!). The ceremony will be in a grassy area, so stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. The cocktail hour and reception will take place on an outdoor stone patio. Outdoor heaters will be provided and there is a fire pit to help stay warm. We recommend bringing a light outer layer for when the weather cools down in the evening. There is also an indoor reception area available.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The average temperature at our venue in October is a high of 66 F and a low of 41 F degrees. It may get chilly in the evening during the reception, so we recommend bringing a light outer layer with you (or you can just dance the night away to stay warm!). There will also be outdoor heaters and a fire pit available outside. Additionally, you can warm up in the indoor reception area.

What's the best airport to use?

Salt Lake City (SLC) International Airport is the closest airport. The venue is easily accessible from SLC by car or ride share (Lyft or Uber). It's about a 25 minute drive.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Our venue is a 25-minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City. You can drive or easily rent a Lyft or Uber to get to and from the venue.

Is there parking available at your wedding venue?

Yes, there is a small parking lot available onsite. If you plan to drive to the venue, please let us know in advance so we can confirm there will be enough space for you to park your car. Thank you!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

No, we do not have any hotel blocks reserved. We want guests to be able to choose to stay at whichever place they are most comfortable, whether that be at a hotel, AirBnB, or VRBO.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

A variety of hors d'oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour. For dinner, we will be serving street tacos with a side salad, fresh fruit, rice and beans, tortilla chips, and an assortment of salsas. For your taco filling, you can choose between chili verde or chipotle chicken. Flour and corn tortillas will be available. Additional toppings will be provided as well.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, our dinner entree can be made vegan, gluten free, and nut free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. Our cocktail hour appetizers will also all be clearly marked if they are allergy friendly (and there will be multiple allergy-friendly options). If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Yes, you are welcome to take photos throughout our celebration! We want you to capture cherished memories as guests. There will also be a free photo booth where we encourage you to take photos during the cocktail hour and early part of the reception! You can keep one copy for yourself and put one in our guestbook so we can cherish your memories with you forever!

Can I post your wedding photos on my social media?

Yes, feel free to post photos of our big day on your social media, however we kindly ask that you please not tag us in your photos. After the wedding, we will send you a link where you can upload your photos so we can enjoy them with you. Thank you!
