We met in the most romantic of places—working in a restaurant, right after the world started piecing itself back together in 2020. Nothing says “meant to be” like surviving post-Covid chaos while slinging food and dodging customer complaints together. We became fast friends, the kind who could joke around one minute and then dive into deep, soul-searching conversations the next.

Jesse cleverly asked me to join his kickball team. We started seeing a lot more of each other, and somewhere between the games, the hangouts, and the endless conversations, something special was building.

Eventually, life pulled us in different directions for a while, but as these things go, we found our way back to each other. This time, things felt different. More intentional, more real.

We started dating in December 2022, and it didn’t take long to realize this was the real deal. In July 2024, Jesse popped the question—and now, here we are. Engaged, in love, and ready for all the adventures to come.
