David and Meghan met in the summer of 2017 when David was living in Chicago with a few of his best friends from Indiana University, one of whom is the brother of Meghan's long-term best friend, Amanda. Upon meeting, Meghan and David hit it off right away and sparks were flying! David sent Meghan a text the following day stating that she MUST let him take her out on a date that week. Meghan and David quickly became official on a trip to Chain O' Lakes a few weeks later with David's family where they spent the weekend boating, jet skiing and cooking together.

Both Meghan and David are graduates of Indiana University, although they didn't meet until after college. In the past 7 years of dating, they've been raising their beloved yellow labrador retriever, Dipo and recently purchased a house in the suburbs of Chicago. With home renovations, job changes and all of life's ups and downs, Meghan and David knew they were going to (eventually) take the next step in their future as a couple. It is safe to say, this engagement was worth the wait and they are thrilled to commit to spending the rest of their lives together and celebrate this special day with all of their favorite people!
