Mel & Peter grew up in completely different countries, & completely different worlds.. to say the least. Peter was raised as the youngest of four in a small village in the countryside of Slovakia, where the winters are as cold as it gets. Mel on the other hand, grew up as the oldest of two in the year round warm weather of the Sunshine State of South Florida in the states, with a fun mix of Irish & Colombian culture.

With that being said, they both clearly, always had the same intoxicating love for life, passion for sports, never-ending social battery, the belief that "everything happens for a reason", & the desire to quite literally.. never stop adventuring. While Peter was graduating university & moving to the city of Berlin. Mel was graduating & boarding a one way flight to New York City. They spent their 20's in the hustle & bustle of two iconic cities.. building their careers & growing immensely as individuals.

Years later in 2022, with the new world of "remote", Mel & Peter made a decision that would change their lives forever - They went to work from Lisboa, Portugal to experience for themselves what the hype was all about.

Mel & Peter met in the co-working space of Selina & the rest was history. Mel took a leap of faith (which was slightly concerning to her loved ones at the time) & traveled over to The Azores, Portugal with Peter where they fell in love amongst the beauty of the gorgeous island. Some would say it was fate - That they are twin flames. Ultimately, this is when their biggest adventure truly began.

Given the different cultures, languages, & logistical hurdles, Mel & Peter decided to elope & read their vows in The Azores, Portugal with those closest to them. Now, as they begin this new chapter, it is time to celebrate with our US side, Florida Style with all of you!
