Jose Cuervo Express

Travel by passenger train to Tequila. Since 2012 the Jose Cuervo Express® travels across the agave landscape with the magic of yesteryear. Departures are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from the Ferromex station in Guadalajara to the Tequila Pueblo Mágico.

We will have more information and schedules by January as they have not come out with their schedule for 2016 just yet.

Tequila, Jalisco

I am sure you've guessed it, Tequila is where Tequila comes from! This beautiful region and town is only 30 minutes away from Guadalajara.

Tlaquepaque, Mexico

Tlaquepaque is a very traditional colonial town in Mexico. The name Tlaquepaque derives from Nahuatl and means "place above clay land". The area is famous for its pottery and blown glass. Tlaquepaque features El Parián, a large plaza flanked by columned arcades and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The main square in the city centre is known as El Jardín Hidalgo ("Hidalgo Garden"), named after Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the "Father of Mexican Independence." Here you can visit many artisan markets, buy many traditional art and try a delicious traditional Jaliscan meal accompanied by Mariachis and Tequila.

Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is one of my favorite beach destinations in Mexico. I love when you have mountains and sea in one place and this is what Puerto Vallarta has. The town of Puerto Vallarta itself is so charming, fun, and provides a great night life.

Puerto Vallarta is a 4 hour drive from Guadalajara or you can fly there for as little as $130 round trip from Guadalajara or $80 one way from Guadalajara and then book your ticket home from Puerto Vallarta.
