It all began when MJ and her friends went out to Stampede to celebrate their graduation from Paul Mitchell. Each friend brought someone along — and as fate would have it, MJ and Cody were the only two not already in a relationship. They hit it off right away.

After a few first dates (and a little nudge from MJ to make things official), the two quickly became inseparable. From sunny boat days on Canyon Lake to cozy dinner dates, their connection grew stronger with every adventure.

Through their relationship, MJ rediscovered her Christian faith, attending Sunday services with Cody at Cornerstone Church. Together, they built a bond rooted in love, loyalty, laughter, and faith — a partnership that celebrates the belief that everyone deserves happiness.
