Q + A

When is the wedding?

Saturday, October 18, 2025!

Where is the wedding?

The wedding is confirmed for Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!

Do I need to RSVP by a certain time?

Yes. In order to have our most accurate guest list locked in place with the venue ahead of our wedding, you will need to RSVP by March 15, 2025. Additionally, your room must be booked by March 20, 2025. Rooms are now available to be booked and the initial deposit is $150. Please be advised that rooms are first come, first serve and there are two different room types available.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, everyone is required to have a passport in order to travel internationally. If you have any questions regarding travel and/or documentation you may need, please email our travel coordinator and her team at guests@paradiseweddings.com or by call 877-737-0177.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited space, we are not able to offer plus ones to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. However, you may travel and room with anyone you'd like — make it a mini vacation!

Where do I stay?

All guests, including the wedding couple, are required to stay a minimum of three (3) nights at Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa. The resort is all-inclusive, meaning the price you pay is not only for your room, but for your food and drinks (alcohol included!) during your stay. We've secured a room block with excellent rates for our guests and suggest you RSVP and book your room as soon as possible.

What days should I be at the resort?

Wedding guests are required to stay a minimum of three (3) nights and we suggest arriving Thursday and leaving Sunday *or* arriving Friday and leaving Monday. Our room block gives you a discounted rate for up to five (5) nights, so feel free to stay an extra night or two and celebrate with us longer!

Do I need to bring a gift?

No! In fact, in lieu of making a wedding registry, we're asking for donations to our honeymoon fund! We love to travel and if you'd like to help us make new memories abroad, we'd greatly appreciate it. But please know that donating to our honeymoon fund is not a requirement to come and celebrate with us. Your presence on the happiest day of our lives is truly gift enough!

Are children allowed?

As much as we love your kiddos, this is an adults-only celebration! We hope you'll turn this into a vacation for you and your partner to come celebrate with us!

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is beach chic. Please note that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held outdoors, so do pick something that will be comfortable to celebrate in all evening long. Essentially, this could be cocktail dresses, evening dresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, or sports coats (ties or no ties). You'll likely feel underdressed in jeans and t-shirts, and overdressed in a full tuxedo. If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask.
