Our journey started at the University of South Florida (USF) where Monique was an active student leader.

Our worlds collided when Monique was the PR officer for the Jamaican Alliance Movement and hired Daniel to be the DJ at an event. I wrote this IG caption supporting Daniel's radio show years before I knew I would become his #1 supporter.

Our world collided again on an eBoat on the Hillsborough River, Tampa, Florida celebrating Sunil's birthday (Daniel's best friend). Fun fact...there were only 5 people on this boat ride but we hardly noticed each other!

After sliding into Daniel's Instagram DMs to ask about a restaurant, we hit it off. We learned that we grew up just 5 mins away from each other! After 2 weeks of dating, we knew we loved each other and would be together for a LONG time. This was our first photo as a couple at Sharkies in Runaway Bay, St. Ann.

We spent my first birthday together at Skyline Drive overlooking the city. Daniel wrote his first apology card for almost ruining my birthday. 😂

We spent the first part of our relationship in COVID lockdown with a few dinner dates sprinkled in 😷

Our first real hiking date (Monique loves to hike!) was at Holywell Park, St. Andrew.

I took a solo trip to Hermosa Cove, Ocho Rios (this place is amazing and we will be back!) for my birthday. Daniel drove to Ocho Rios to spend the last night of my trip with me. This picture was taken at Miss T's Kitchen, Ocho Rios (one of our favourite food spots) where we had lunch with my mother and sister.
