He Says...

Morgan and I met expressing our athletic abilities on a makeshift kickball field. I guess her first impression of me was after watching my tryout video, mine was after her attempt to kick a home run. Although her first thought of me may have been that I was taking a recreational kickball team too seriously, my first impression of her was how beautiful she was (and that she was somehow more of a know-it-all than I am). Our first interaction was interesting to say the least. We were walking to the field and I ignored her while she walked 5 feet behind me from our cars to the field. I don’t think she appreciated it very much to say the least. I would say we “clicked” as soon as we started talking. She was funny, I was funnier. She kept me on my toes and I don’t think we stopped laughing or talking about pointless topics.

Fast forward to November 12 when I asked her on our first date. I made a reservation to MF Bar Sushi, which luckily was her favorite restaurant. I was nervous the entire drive to pick her up, profusely sweating to be honest. I called Connor maybe 10 times stuttering on how to walk to the door to pick Morgan up from her parents house. But I can honestly say it was the best date I’ve been on. We sat and talked about everything under the sun and before we knew it, we had been there for over 3 hours. Although truth be told, I barely ate throughout the dinner out of nerves so I picked up a McChicken immediately after I drove her back home.

I can’t imagine where I would be without Morgan in my life (and I’d say it’s safe to say a lot of my friends reading this would say the same). Morgan is my person to call when I’m stressed or needing to rant, my person to laugh with always, to try new foods with (although she doesn’t always approve of my adventurous selections). She is always pushing me to do better and strive to be my best and I can’t thank her enough for the constant words of encouragement. I cannot wait to see what our future has in store. I love you always, Morgan. I can’t wait to share my last name.
