Located right across the street from the St. Regis, Miami’s Bal Harbour Shops is a destination unto itself. A beautifully landscaped al fresco luxury shopping hub since 1965, its breezeways are lined with shiny boutique windows with names like Chanel, Prada and Gucci emblazoned on them. With lush palm trees, bright tropical flowers, koi ponds and limestone and marble fountains, it’s a chic destination with many great restaurants as well including Carpaccio, Makoto, and Le Zoo to name a few.
When you visit Wynwood Walls, you’ll get a taste of Miami’s art world. Adorned in everything from life-sized murals of the Dalai Lama and graffiti quotes, to abstract paintings and out-of-this-world sculptures, Wynwood Walls is as unique as it is creative.
Nearby, there is plenty of shopping for visitors to take advantage of from deluxe thrift stores and unique boutiques, to jewelry stores, fashion houses and more. Some popular shops include MVM Miami, Nomad Tribe, Boho Hunter and Basico.
There are also many spots where you can grab a bite to eat in walking distance from Wynwood Walls, such as Wynwood Kithcen & Bar, GK Bistronomie, Alter, Coyo Taco and more.
This European-style estate was built in the early 20th century and has a spot on the U.S. National Historic Landmark list. With 34 rooms, more than 2,500 works of art and 10 stunning acres of gardens, which include 25 acres of endangered growth forests and 2,000 orchids, you’ll feel like you’ve escaped to a beautiful castle in Europe. Tour the fountains, garden-lined walkways and statues, all also enjoyed by Queen Elizabeth II and Pope John Paul II.
