We were just 16, sophomores in high school, when we went on our very first date to the Toledo Zoo Lights. From there, our relationship grew. We attended every school dance together, cheering each other on at countless volleyball and basketball games, and created memories that have shaped who we are today. In 2019, we both graduated from Perkins High School in Sandusky, Ohio. Ollie, our class president, gave the graduation speech. Along the way, we didn't just learn in the classroom - we learned about love, commitment, and what it means to grow up side by side.

Isaac attended the University of Dayton, while Ollie attended The Ohio State University. We quickly became familiar with I-70, knowing it like the back of our hands, as we visited each other often throughout college. Some of our favorite memories include pre-gaming and going to many Ohio State football games, as well as celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Dayton’s campus each year. Despite the distance, we made the most of the opportunities college presented us and supported each other throughout this next stage of life together. Through these experiences, it taught us not only how to grow as individuals, but aslo how to grow together.

After graduation, Isaac joined Robert W. Baird as an Investment Banking Analyst in their Chicago office. Olivia joined Myers Industries as a Supply Chain Analyst. She now works at Guidewheel, a tech start up, as a Solutions Engineer. In August 2024, we finally closed the distance when Ollie moved to Chicago, and we started our life together in the River North neighborhood. Shortly after, Isaac surprised Ollie for her birthday with the best gift yet - our Havenese puppy, Sparky. One of Isaac's favorite parts about living together is Ollie's wonderful cooking. We've fallen in love with the city and the endless list of restaurants, parks, and places to explore, but we are also excited for what's to come next!

Then, in April 2025, we went on one of our classic Florida trips - a tradition we've shared since our earliest days together, often visiting our grandparents and enjoying time in the sunshine. But this time, Isaac had something extra special planned. He suggested breakfast and a sunrise picnic on the beach, where he got down on one knee and proposed. It was perfect - everything I had ever hoped for. Later that day, we celebrated with family (and of course, Chipotle catering!) and I was surprised when my sisters flew down from Columbus to join in on the celebration. Being engaged to your best friend truly is the best.
