Chad and Page met at a country bar in Tualatin, Oregon in February 2022. Page had left her things at the barstool, and when she came back Chad was there. Chad immediately struck up conversation with Page and asked her to dance. Page said no at first... but eventually gave in to Chad's charm and good looks. All of Chad's co-workers left but he waited for Page to leave, gave her his jacket, and walked her to her car. Were the sparks flying? Only time would tell...

Chad and Page made things official in April 2022. Chad asked Page one evening, "What are we?" Page answered, "We're friends," and Chad responded, "You're my girlfriend." And that was that. Good answer, Chad.

Their dating journey was nothing short of exciting - from live music to flying through the Oregon skies, they had a blast. In May, Page got a job offer and was asked to move to Boise, Idaho. She accepted the job, and so began the chapter of long-distance love for Page and Chad.

In June, Chad pulled off a surprise visit to Boise, melting Page's heart. During his trip, he had the pleasure of meeting Page's new friends, and they even attended a Riley Green concert together. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, right?

Page and Chad each drove 3.5 hours, Chad driving from Wilsonville, and Page driving from Boise, to meet in the middle in Pendleton. Distance doesn't have anything on them!

Page visited Chad in Oregon and got to watch one of his sprint car races! Their schedules allowed them to see each other just once a month, but each visit was filled with love and excitement.

Chad accepted an aerial photography pilot job that required him to travel all over the US. 'New week, new city' was the motto. Page got to visit Chad once in Colorado during this time, and he also got to spend a few weeks in Boise. During this chapter, they made the most of their nightly FaceTime's.

In the summer, Page and Chad got to spend a lot of time together. With Chad having his own plane they got to fly back and forth from Portland and Boise, and fly into other Idaho destinations like Sun Valley and McCall. Seriously, BEST. SUMMER. EVER.

On September 24th, 2023, the stars aligned as Chad dropped to one knee and proposed to Page atop the breathtaking Camel's Back Trail in Boise. With the sun setting in the background and the world at their feet, it was a moment of pure magic, marking the beginning of a dreamy new chapter in their love story.
