Once upon a time, in the halls of Highland Elementary School two unassuming kids befriended one another. Though everyone is friends with everyone in kindergarten, this one stuck and it was in for the long haul.

Some might say that dating in second grade is far too young... Or should I say *Cough* Dakota *Cough* would eventually use it as an excuse to breakup with me, all while using his mother as a scapegoat! ...Tragic, I know..

After 17 years of friendship, a few failed attempts at courtship from Dakota and each of us gaining an ex; we finally took the leap out of the friend-zone.

And what a leap it was.

They say 'when you know you know' and boy did we know, maybe even knew longer than we thought we did. And I know there were quite a few people in our lives that knew way before we did too. But our fun new fling turned into the most beautiful life, faster than we could've ever imagined it. A house, a dog and twin baby boys all in under 2 years. Life may be a little chaotic, but I say with confidence that we wouldn't change a single thing about it. Everything happened exactly the way it was supposed to in exactly the right timing for us.

We can't wait to celebrate our love with each and every one of you!
