Rachel and Tyler met in the OR over a gallbladder removal on a distant rotation in Bloomington, when Rachel was a PA student and Tyler was a med student. They ended up getting called in overnight to evaluate a trauma at 3 am, and on the way home Rachel thought she was being followed by a car the whole way back to her apartment, as the car turned into her parking lot! Tyler ended up getting out of the car, and it turns out Rachel and Tyler were neighbors on that rotation. They had a good laugh over this. Rachel asked Tyler if he wanted to carpool to work the next day, and there has not been a day that they have not talked since!!

Rachel and Tyler have been there for each other through Rachel's PA school graduation, her first PA job, Tyler's medical school graduation, Tyler applying and getting accepted into residency, and moving to Champaign together. They look forward to spending the rest of their lives together, through all the big and small moments. They are excited to celebrate their special day with you all!!!!
