Wedding Day

Our Wedding

Rachel and Tyler met in the OR over a gallbladder removal on a distant rotation in Bloomington, when Rachel was a PA student and Tyler was a med student. They ended up getting called in overnight to evaluate a trauma at 3 am, and on the way home Rachel thought she was being followed by a car the whole way back to her apartment, as the car turned into her parking lot! Tyler ended up getting out of the car, and it turns out Rachel and Tyler were neighbors on that rotation. They had a good laugh over this. Rachel asked Tyler if he wanted to carpool to work the next day, and there has not been a day that they have not talked since!!Rachel and Tyler have been there for each other through Rachel's PA school graduation, her first PA job, Tyler's medical school graduation, Tyler applying and getting accepted into residency, and moving to Champaign together. They look forward to spending the rest of their lives together, through all the big and small moments. They are excited to celebrate their special day with you all!!!!

One of Rachel's oldest friends, having known each other since 6 years old; the first thing that Rachel said to Annie when they met was "let's paint nails"!!

Fun fact: the first day that Rachel and Mackenzie met they played Club Penguin and went to the pet store to buy a fish.

Rachel and Dillon survived going to elementary school, middle school, high school, and college together!

Millia and Rachel met as coworkers, became Midwest transplants together, and survived two cross country road trips together (including snowstorms and thunderstorms)!

Allie and Rachel met through their sorority, Alpha Phi, to become lifelong friends!

Valerie and Rachel bonded over shared trauma... having to tackle a mega-colon in a pathology lab (will spare you of the gross details)!

Chrissy is one of Rachel's former roommates, a fellow cat lover, and a fellow survivor of PA school! Fun fact: she loves everything Shrek!

Iris and Rachel became good friends on a PA school rotation, where they spent most of their time attempting to learn how to belly dance... it didn't go well so don't ask for a demonstration!

Sam and Rachel were study buddies during PA school! They were never spotted apart from each other, and now are lucky enough to be each other's bridesmaids!

Rachel and Bianca met working in Neurosurgery, and the rest is history!

Meet Charlie, the professional flower girl!! Having been a flower girl several times, she comes with great qualifications!

Met Tyler in medical school; went from friend to roommate to his baby squirrel. And now he is the officiant for their wedding!

Kyle

Tyler and Jake became best friends in college and moved in together after only one semester. Tyler was best man for Jake's wedding, so it's only right that Jake returns the favor!

Met at the pool the day before med school and instantly became best friends after Tyler said "shot o'clock?".

Joe was Tyler's little brother in his fraternity and was frequently mistaken for his actual little brother!

Called Rachel a red flag the first time he met her for having a messy car..lol...anyways, Tyler wouldn't have made it through med school without his support!

Tyler and Ryan have known each other since junior high and became inseparable when they lived in Arizona together. KING AURTHOR

The best friendships are the ones where there are almost no photos of the two of you together in existence! Cheers to these kinds of friendships (but not to Rachel who had to scrounge up some pictures)

Milo

Tyler and Gil shared a room in high school. Gil thought he killed Tyler after he fell out of their window trying to sneak back in... don't ask for more details!

Joe is one of the meatballs, and you may also refer to him as Little Joe. He is always the friend who is down to play guitar hero at 4 am.

Matt would have Tyler's back no matter the situation, but Tyler would still send him to freshman orientation in a belly shirt and short shorts... don't ask for pics!

Andre and Tyler met the first day of medschool, and Andre thought Tyler was a meat head jock... before quickly realizing he was a huge nerd. They have been friends ever since.
