Q + A

Will you have to stay in the reception area or pavilion during the reception?

Nope! After the ceremony and smaller events such as food and couple entrance you are free to walk along the beach as you please!

Is glass allowed on the beach or reception area?

No. The Gulf Shores State Park has kindly asked that no glass is present anywhere including beach and the pavilion

Can I take my shoes off on the beach?

Yes, please feel free to do so as we all know that sand gets everywhere no matter what! There is a foot washing station on the walk back up from the beach, but everyone will be responsible for keeping up with your shoes and bringing their own towel to wipe off your feet before coming up to the pavilion.

Are children invited to the wedding along with their parents or guardians?

Of course! Slade and I have many kids on both sides of the family that we adore and wouldn't want them left out of our big day! As long as their parent or guardian has eyes on them so they do not wonder off alone and get hurt or steps away with them if they get fussy during the ceremony so they can calm down and get back to enjoying the night because we want to make sure EVERYONE has a good time including parents and little ones!

Will there be alcohol?

We will most likely have beer and spritzers, but no liquor will be present at this wedding. We will have other forms of non-alcoholic drinks for those who do not wish to drink any form of alcohol.

Will there be food?

Of course! We wouldn't want anyone to go hungry and there will be kid friendly food that should make the littles happy.

Do i have to stay for the full event?

Nope! If you feel tired or ready to leave before the end of the event, please feel free to and drive safely to wherever your destination might be!

Will there be a couple exit?

Yes! We will designate a time to let everyone know that we are headed out with fun lights and everything to send us off as an official married couple!

What is the dress code?

The dress code for this beach wedding is Dressy Casual! Meaning ladies can wear flowy short/ long maxi dresses, or nice linen pants and a nice blouse. Men can wear slacks or jeans, whichever is more comfortable, with a nice button up or polo shirt. DO NOT WEAR HAWIIAN TOURIST SHIRTS OR SOCKS WITH SANDALS PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

Are you allowed a plus one?

If you are an adult who wishes to bring a date to our wedding, Slade and I must meet them at LEAST 4 months prior to the wedding! We are happy for you to have a partner but do not wish to have a stranger in our wedding photos if things do not end well. Children of course like I mentioned are invited because we love your kids as much as you do!

Love, Slade and Samantha!

We can't wait to see you there!
