Bride

Dimitri and I met at a rehearsal dinner for our best friend's wedding. I knew I would be walking with "some guy" named Dimitri, but I had no other knowledge of who he was or what he looked like. I remember seeing him for the first time and thinking, "I hope that's the one I am walking with." Lo and behold, he sure was. I have never felt so captivated by someone at first glance. Over the progression of that first weekend, I quickly learned that he was most definitely not just "some guy." I will never forget the night of the wedding when we stayed up past three in the morning while everyone slept; we were up talking about God, our families, and the simple joys of life. He makes me belly laugh like I never have before (I don't think I have ever snorted from laughing this much in my life... kind of embarrassing, I know). He encourages me each day to continue to grow and become a better version of myself; he teaches me that I am worthy of love; and most importantly, he guides me in my Faith and puts God first in our relationship. Loving him couldn't be any easier, and I could not be more excited for our forever!

Groom

Sammy and I met last June, and the second day of knowing her we were walking down the aisle. Not to get married of course, but to watch both of our best friends get married. At the wedding, everything just clicked, and we could not get away from each other (or at least you could not get me away from her). After no sleep for a few nights and lots of talking we had figured out that our connection went beyond wedding fever. God allowed for a job to open up for me and her to travel, and allowed us to continue dating even with the distance between us. We spent every day we could with each other since then, and I would not have it any other way. Sam makes my heart so full, so excited and yet so calm. Her love is exactly what I need and being with her is an adventure everyday. I love this woman so much, she withstands all my bad jokes, and makes me laugh at her cute goofiness. God has blessed me with her and I know I am ready to be with her for the rest of my life.
