Brian and Sarah met through the traditional millennial way - online. Sarah messaged Brian first after noticing his cute smile.
What started out as a simple text grew to much more.
Brian bonded with Sarah over living in the same city for 2 1/2 years and never meeting. Brian relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to wait for his liver transplant at Mayo Hospital.
During this time, Brian trained in Jacksonville as an EMT. He even delivered patients to the same hospital Sarah worked at!
Brian and Sarah even discovered they hung out at the same coffee shop in Jacksonville Beach (Bold Bean Coffee) and never met!
Their paths had crossed so many times; but, it took meeting online for them to finally meet in real life.
Even with a 2 hour difference between them, a romance quickly started.
Brian and Sarah has their first date on July 9th, 2019. It became evident that something beautiful was happening here. Brian and Sarah walked across the Hudson River that day, holding hands, and talking. It was lovely. Dinner and a night at the theatre followed.
Soon after their first date, Sarah met Brian’s four children. Sarah fell in love with not only him; but his four beautiful children - Vanessa, Skylar, Zachary , and Nathan.
Brian proposed on August, 30th, 2020 in Mystic, Connecticut. He proposed at the small lighthouse in the village. Brian always felt drawn to all things nautical and the sea. He told Sarah that she was his lighthouse - his safety and light in the storms of his life. Through tears Sarah told Brian that she had never felt so much love in her life and couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her life in his arms.
