Vermont is full of exciting things to do. The list is endless but here are some of our favorite suggestions.
Restaurants:
The Farmhouse Tap and Grill:
Farm to table restaurant with rotating menu based on season and local availability. Reservations available online or grab a beer at the beer garden in the back while you wait for your table.
Pascolo
Italian food that won’t disappoint.
El Cortijo
Farm to table Mexican food. Killer margaritas. It is located in an
older diner, fills up quickly so be prepared to wait.
Folino’s Pizza
BYOB pizza place. City Market next door is a fresh grocery store
and has a great beer selection. The original location is 20 min outside Burlington and under the same roof as Fiddlehead brewery.
Ali Baba’s Kabab Shop
A small storefront on Main street that has amazing Falafel/Kabab pita wraps.
Henry Street Diner
Diner with an expansive list of classic breakfast food as well as
an extensive lunch menu.
August First
Cute sandwich/bread place for a relaxing breakfast/lunch.
Four Corners of the Earth
This small sandwich restaurant has a unique ambiance. The sandwiches are simple and always taste amazing.
The Bagel Place
Go here if you love bagels. It is just outside of Burlington over
the highway but it was always a go to breakfast on the way to the mountain.
Burlington Bagel Bakery
A great alternative right on church street if the bagel place is too
far of a hike.
Breweries/bars
Note: Most of the big ones are on Pine street which is about a 15
minute walk from downtown.
Burlington:
Citizen Cider
Has great ciders including ones you won’t see on the shelf
outside of the brewery. Their food selection is always good as well.
Switchback
Next to the tallest filing cabinet in the world. Their flagship
switchback ale is a must try.
Burlington Beer Co.
Recently moved to a new location. They know how to make an IPA and the cans always have interesting art on the label
Zero Gravity
Another Burlington classic. A range of beers can be tried at the
brewery and their patio is enjoyable on a sunny day.
Foam
Right next to the water, foam beers have a unique fruity flavor
to them. There is a good chance you can catch some live music at the brewery
Queen City
Another solid choice on the pine street strip. Has a classic
brewery vibe.
Magic Hat
They have cool tours of their facility that end in a free sample
at the end.
Fiddlehead
It's technically in Shelburne but is a close enough drive to make the Burlington list. One of our favorite’s and pairs nicely with Folino’s pizza.
Stowe/Warren
Alchemist
They make the award winning Heady Topper beer and Focal Banger is a favorite of ours. If you are an IPA lover this is the place for you.
Lawson’s Finest Liquids
The makers of Sip of Sunshine. Their brewery is in a luxurious log cabin. This is a great place to try some of their beers you can’t get anywhere else.
Von Trapp
An award winning and very scenic brewery.

Camels Hump
A ~4hr hike with views of the surrounding area and lake.
Mount Mansfield
Many different trails on the mountain Stowe resort calls home. Not for an inexperienced hiker.
Beaches:

Sandy beach that is great for relaxing and grilling.
Oak ledge
Rocky beach that is great for relaxing or <10ft cliff jumping
Intervale Center
Our venue has a number of walking trails to explore as well as kayaks to take out on the Winooski river.
Bringing your fur baby? Great news! Most of Burlington is dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on most patios, in many stores on church street, and on hiking trails. There is also a fenced dog park on the bike path.
