Most of you who know us are aware that we have been together for 8 years now. We started "dating" in 8th grade ( if you can even call that dating) and we have been together ever since. In high school we did about everything together like marching band ( which took up most of our time) and tennis. Currently we are at two different colleges majoring in our dream careers.

In the beginning of our relationship I (Shannon) asked one of my friends for Ethan's number and preceded to text him who I was (which was a text apparently never received). Ethan preceded to text me, not knowing who I was for two weeks, until I asked him something in our science class. He preceded to say "Oh! You're the person I have been texting" me being who I am was mortified and really embarrassed that this boy I liked didn't even know I was the one texting him.

Luckily, I (Ethan) liked her back. After talking myself up for about a week, I asked Shannon if she would be my girlfriend after a middle school band practice after school. I had to ask it twice because I was so nervous I asked the question at borderline light-speed and she couldn't understand what I said the first time. Shannon said yes and that is where it all started! She was 12 and I was 13 years old.

From that point on, we have been inseparable. While we had our ups and down, we always worked hard and trusted God. Shannon and I can not wait to start the next chapter of our life!
